In May 1995 the “Xaquín Lorenzo Cultural Center” embarked on an ambitious project aimed to those interested in preserving the art, culture and traditions of the past. This project has experimented with its “Raigame” (searching for our roots) to help the researchers preserve the spirit of our ancestors well and alive.
The first number of “Raigame Magazine” was originated in 1995. That was the time when the magazine was published every six months and distributed free of charge all over the world.
Furthermore in the same year, “Raigame Magazine” the “Xaquín Lorenzo Cultural Centre” published various books which relates to our traditional culture. Books to recuperate the photographic reflections and experiences of our county and exceptional books to be used at schools which belong to this special publications section.
